Kerri has had a number of years dance training including Jackie Palmer stage school and her Royal Academy of Dance ballet qualifications at Julie Overton School of Dance. Kerri then continued her dance training at Surrey University completing a four year degree in Dance and Culture. Kerri’s dancing highlights include performing in the opening of the champions league final at Wembley stadium in 2011 and in the opening ceremony of the Olympics in 2012.
Kerri began cheerleading in 2009 when she joined the Surrey Angels and became the social secretary in 2010. Surrey Angels were a university squad who were national champions at level 2 (FC Nationals 2010 and 2011). In 2012 she joined Surrey Sapphires which competed in Jazz and Contemporary competitions across the country. Kerri has coached cheerleading and dance in schools, village halls and at Super Camps (a holiday camp for children aged 4 – 15). Kerri began coaching for the Chiltern Cheetahs in October 2013 and is looking forward to taking them to their first competition.
Kerri now works for Rambert Dance Company and for the Royal Ballet School both based in London, as their Outreach Events Co-ordinator.
